As always, it took lobbying for change in the LAW to effect positive change in the way we educate our children.

Not all kids with learning disabilities need 'special education'. Most often, they just need a variation of the 'mold' by which we teach in the public system, which of course, causes all sorts of challenges for school systems designed only to teach the 'average' child. Our schools here in Lancaster, good as they may be overall, are as guilty of that as any other.
