This was a sick act of appalling cruelty and cold-hearted hate. Someone strangles these two rabbits, which were essentially class pets, and then put them back in their cages so the children could find them. Further, the police think that there is a chance they were stomped in addition to this. This act was designed not to harm just the rabbits but also to cause distress to the children who cared for them.

Whoever did this is incredibly sick and deserves harsh punishment -- and psychological counselling.

Incidents like this make me wish there really was a hell. I hope whoever did this fries - I don't care who it is. I am certain they'll be caught; anyone this twisted, hateful and stupid won't be able to keep his yap shut.
