Fluoride (that is added to municipal water) is a hazardous waste product. Before you add it to your baby's formula read a tube of toothpaste (with fluoride added) and note it says, "not for children under the age of six".

Amazing how everyone gets so uptight about flouride in their water. Sure, flouride is toxic at large quantities. So are most of the essential vitamins and minerals! Read an MSDS sheet for water or table salt (NaCl) if you want a real scare. The addition of flouride to toothpaste and water has been responsible for American's ability to worry about how straight or white their teeth are rather than whether they'll have any left by the age of 50.
