That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read, the Goethals would be a much better fit.

LLAMA LOVER!! ( why? scurries away, cackling madly...)
why?

WAIT! That's IT by G-D you've completed the puzzle!

Now stay with me here, we connect the Greist building to W&S USING the Goethals bridge (shortened, of course), line it with a PARADE OF LLAMAS and fill the center lane with the STUNNING WORLD-CLASS roller-coaster that dumps the riders into the "bobbing for pyrhannas" feature!

My G-D, it's so damned crazy it just might work.

Your theorem is not without merit, however as an animal lover (unlike Why?) I must protest the pyrhanna idea. As this board has repeatedly proven, intelligent design has left us humans with unusually hard skulls. What if, in their frenzy, one of these poor fishy's were to chip a tooth, I fear a heavy backlash from PETA.

Actually a Cat 5 will not level South Florida. You'd be surprised how strong some of our building are. Many that were constructed after Hurricane Andrew had NO or very minor damage from Hurricane Wilma (S. Florida was struck by 4 hurricanes in 2005, Dennis, Katrina, Rita, and Wilma-Wilma was the worst in many years).

We have one of the most stringent building codes in the country. Even our pre-Andrew codes were strict. In Andrew, it was the newest manly single family homew with "gable type" roof angles that had the heavest damage. (Some commercial buildings also) Most older homes fared well. What happens is most homes suffer roof damage with winds of say over 100 MPH.

We also have strict inforcement of all national fire codes here. The old buildings in Lancaster would have a hard time passing the annual fire inspections the City of Fort Lauderdale requires.
