This only highlights the fact that the average American who gets up and goes to work 5 days a week has no representation at any level.
Which is true at every level of government, starting with your city, borough, or township.

Eddie's performance needs to stand up on its own.
Agreed to a certain extent, but remember Democrat Rendell has been stuck with a Republican-controlled legislature until this year. EVERYTHING that was passed under Rendell before this year was twisted and turned until it met the requirements of the Republican leadership.

I actually USED to be a Rendell supporter, until it became obvious that Democrat Ed Rendell and Republican Sen. Gib Armstrong were clearly conspiring together to rape and pillage the taxpayers over projects like the taxpayer-financed hotel and convention center. No self-respecting Democrat would ever support a project that takes from the poor and gives to the rich, any more than any self-respecting Republican would dramatically increase government spending.

And Republicans never do anything like this. Oh wait yeah the VP likes to tell Congress to "F$%# OFF" Come LNP why don't you report on some real news. We know you don't like Rendell, but do some hard news instead of this BS

You must be one of 61% that voted for this slick, Philadelphia, cheesesteak eatin' tax and spender.

I made no mention of whether or not i voted for Rendell, there are things about him i don't like. But Pericles don't go making this stupid assumptions like you know everything. And making these lame cuts on someone. It just really shows a childish side. I was simply stating a fact that both republicans and dems do it. But it wasn't really front page news when Dick Chenny told Congress to F$%$ off.

Are we suppose to feel better about Eddie's tax and spend policy because W. Bush is even worse? This only highlights the fact that the average American who gets up and goes to work 5 days a week has no representation at any level. Eddie's performance needs to stand up on its own. The message that most residents have been trying to get across to Harrisburg is that we are paying enough in taxes. We are not interested in property tax relief that only shifts taxes. We are not interested in fund more social programs no mater how worthy the cause.

You hit the nail on the head.
I think it’s obvious that we the people across the board have lost confidence in government’s direction and ability. The bigger government gets the more inefficient it becomes, but government keeps trying to grow it’s self ever and ever larger. Some how we must cut off the tax flow by….NO NEW TAXES !!! NO NEW PROGRAMS !!!

If fast Eddie wants a new program he can end a few old ones that don’t work, shouldn’t be hard to do.
I never did find our how much slot tax money the state gets to keep for it’s self, I guess it’s now all of it.

61% of Pennsylvanians are "imbiciles." Though I'm sure that number is inflated with the legendary Philly-burgh voter fraud.
