Artie,
Read the article, this has nothing to do with getting drunk or about forgiveness. She is being denied her degree because she wasn't doing a good job student teaching and didn't follow the rules in that she was reminded several times not to refer her students to her MySpace page, but didn't comply.

It will be interesting to see how stories hold up under oath when this goes to trial. Sounds like there is a whole lot of CYA'ing going on right now by Millersville and CV.

I didn't think so, but I guess that is a matter of opinon. I don't expect that argument will hold up very well when this goes to court.

I hear what you are saying Shawn, but we are in a different court right now.
Who knows how this story well end once all the facts are on the table.

Perhaps every teacher who was ever sheet faced drunk should lose their certification.

Perhaps every school administrator who was ever sheet faced drunk should be immediately removed from office.

Perhaps every elected or appointed public official or administrator who was ever sheet faced drunk should be immediately removed from office.

Welcome to Lancaster County, where forgiveness is nothing more than a word.

Well Artie I don't think this is about someone being sheet faced drunk, it's about being sheet faced drunk with a picture on the internet and a caption saying "drunk pirate",
Oh I forgot to mention that the "drunk pirate" is a student teacher and she apparently told her students about her web site. Definitly unprofessional behavior.
[size="3"]Boo hoo Artie has Lancaster been mean to you lately?

Cecil: remember, Jesus's first miracle was to turn water into wine so the wedding guests wouldn't get 'thirsty!'

well my christian bible sez that jesus spent more time at parties with drunks and ho's then he did in church and when he did go to church he threw the bums out and called them hypocrites.

where is jesus when ya really need him.LOL

Artie has Lancaster been mean to you lately?
Yes, and to you, and to everyone else.

Most people are so caught up in their own little world that they have no idea how badly they are being raped and pillaged by the people THEY elected to hold office. When most of you come to realize what is really going on, it will be far too late to do anything about it.

If Imus loses his job for using that word - shouldn't you be banned?

I don't think he should be banned. Imus was fired because he was loosing the company money as a result of his gaff. It was a sound business decision on the part of his employers. Totally different situation.
