Please explain to me if you can, why is the Catholic Church not being prosecuted and shut down under the RICO statutes as a criminal organization. They are the sopranos of pedophilia.

As someone who was brought up Catholic....I agree!! Maybe the numbers are down, because they found out how to cover up better.

Or maybe the numbers are down because some bishops adopted a zero tolerance policy towards these kinds of situations (including working with the local law enforcement in the investigations), as well as implementing background checks and mandatory "Protecting God's Children" workshops for any volunteers or employees working with children. At least that's what Bishop Cullen did.
