Exactly how many flippin opportunities is this creep going to get? The judge said he is at high risk for reoffending and this pitiful sentence is all he got? And he allowed to interact with children upon his release? Chaperon or not he should never be allowed around children again. I am totally disgusted. When are the judges going to wake up and hand down a sentence that means something? And who is going to be held accountable when this creep gets out and reoffends?

I am with you....Who here would want to serve as his chaperone??? I mean, seriously, you couldn't take your eyes off him for a minute. This isn't just about his child porn collection -- he admitted to having sexual contact with several children WHILE ON PAROLE!

" While in therapy at T.W. Ponessa & Associates, Spedden admitted having sex with at least 10 children between the ages of 2 and 15 while on parole, although the crimes went unreported to police."

Words fail me. Three months isn't even a slap on the wrist - it's a love tap. Where's Ellie Nessler when you need her?

I can't support vigilante justice, but I do think this man needs to be incarcerated on a permanent basis. Put him in a mental facility strictly for ADULT sex offenders or whatever, but don't let him near children EVER AGAIN. This man is NOT interested in being rehabilitated (if that is even possible).
Edited to add: I always thought that incarceration was not just about punishment, it was also supposed to address situations where there was a continued threat to the public. If this gentleman's actions do not constitute a continued threat to the public, I'm not sure what does.
