Thank you Governor Rendell, for finally taking some steps to address the puppy mill problem.

As far as breeder Lobbyist Ken Brandt's statement "I challenge any of these folks to show me a bad kennel, or an unlicensed kennel, or a sick dog". It is obvious that he has never stepped foot out of his well funded office into a puppy mill. Try an unannounced visit for an eyeful. Does he need some names? No unlicensed kennels! What a joke. Yes, there are unlicensed ones. No sick dogs! It is uncomprehensible that that even a lobbyist would say that.

Great post Gottaloveit. Also, I agree - What mortgages! Seems the only ones who can afford acreage in Lancaster County are the developers and the plain farmers. Also the tired, worn out, lame excuse of "needing to supplement their income" is a joke. Many of these farmers do nothing more than run their factory dog farms. No need to farm anything else when the factory dogs do all the work and produce big bucks for the puppy milling farmers.
